Hola..

I write about places I have been to, and put up some photos to see by all.
However, this site may be updated time by time according to my free time.

Pardon my timeline. sometimes i wrote my fun adventures in the other blog and forgot to upload 'em here. then when i suddenly remembered, i would just copy and paste everything to here. hehe

Okay, before i totally forgot abt it.. haha let me revise back what had happened through out 6/7 days we were there. Also for guidance those who need it.

Day 1

Arriving KK airport around 3.30pm. Met the van rental guy. (Dolphine Rental). Rent the Nissan van for rm280perday. huuu expensive.. but we had 12 ppl in total, so :'(

After had lunch at , we headed to Ranau.. Okay, the journey was so frightening cause we had to drive there at night. Dark at night. The road was upside down the mountain with the disturbance of extreme fog. The fog was really bad that you could see nothing at all.. Man, really challenging. So not recommend you to drive crossed Kundasang at night... scaryyyyyy... Luckily we were all survived.. Fuhhh

Sleep at Ernah Lodge, which was 100m away from the entrance of Hot Spring Poring. The lodge was so cute and cozy. I loved it there. Recommended for those whose looking for places to stay at Ranau. Cheap price too, i tell ya. You can watch tv in the living room wey.. So comfyyy

Day 2 | Ranau | Kundasang

From there, we went to Canopy Walk near to Poring Hot Spring. Uuuuu high and my youngest sister was so afraid that we had to carry her around.

Then the waterfall. Lastly to the Hot Spring.. Lets get some splashhhhh shall we..

You can do so many things wey around Poring Hot Spring.. No lie lie maa... You can watch the Rafflesia flower if its the blooming season. You can go to the butterfly farm. Owh and also to the bat cave. Cool aite.. Enter here for more info..

After done with Ranau, we drove up hill to Kundasang, to the Kinabalu park. Owh I forgot to mention that most of the attraction cost you rm5/entry/above18. I drove the hills in the Kinabalu Park, walauweyhhh so freaking steep yet adventurous.. Big thrill inside ma heart.. haha. Anyway, you can get as close to the entrance of base of Mount Kinabalu. Take the scenic photo there although it was foggy that you barely see anyhthing. Sigh definitely should come here early morning to see the majestic view. Sigh again. haha..

Day 3 | Kudat

Okay, let see the aerial view of Tip of Borneo, Simpang Mengayau. You would definitely be drooling off all your saliva wey..

Beautifulllll rightttttt... I wasnt on the chopper to take this photo but I grab this majestic image from here.

Anyway, we stopped there for lunch, and had cheap coconut drink. (RM2.50) cheap cheap cheap... Then we tour the challet nearby, wow RM100/night/challet. Gosh why we dint know about it, if else we would definitely stay here.

Day 4 | Kota Kinabalu

Back to the city. Fuhhh. We rented an apartment. Jack Condo for rm300/night.There was a washing machine, pots and woks to cook and also swimming pool. Naisssss... Check out Jack's Condo at Marina Court house if you're travelling wif big group. Totally worth the money. Owh Marina Court House was located close to the night market, so we bought the fresh fishes and fresh vege, and cooked them. Yosh superlicious to have fresh raw foods to be cooked by your own. =D

Enough with fresh foods.. The best thing about KK is that it's really close to everything and that includes beautiful islands. So there we went, to the Jesselton Point, got ourselve our own chartered boat (rm250/boat) and swimming in the ocean while Islands Hopping at Taman Tun Abdul Rahman.. Perrrffeeecctttt holiday..

Day 5 | Penampang

What is Sabah without its tamu right? So we woke up early and headed to Tamu Penampang. Gosh, so freaking hard to get a parking spot. We ate various of local foods, and bought some snacks and anchovies.

Done eating, burrpppp.. We went to Lok Kawi Wildlife.

Day 6 | Day 7

Well, during these last two days, we just drove around to Labuan, and Kota Kinabalu before finally back to mainland.

Tour Europe - Scrapbook Version

Hey ho... Okay went to Eurotrip (wohoo :P) in December 2007.. Hahaha i know its lame that it took 'forever' for me to upload these pichass... Sorrrryyyyyy kay...

So after the Eurotrip, i did some scrapbooking using the tickets, brochures and pampleths i got during the trip.. Somehow recently, i was like 'hey, why not putting those scrapbooks online so that ppl can see, as supposed to be kept in the closet, alone in the darknesss.. saddddd'.

So let me bring you guys back into my adventures with ma friendssss... weeee hoooo...

Okay, the 1st page of my adventures.. oppps, now u can see all my friends there.. Introducing to u, my funky friends, Sureen (Suleeeennnn), Hafiz (apissssssssssssssss), Ikin, annnddd Kuyu (my HACC friends..) okay now miss all of you so damn much.. hug hugs hugssss hugggsssssssss!!!!!

Okay, already did the introduction up there.. skipp... nextt!!!

ha look, look!!! all the places i went.. okay, wrong there.. teettt.. All the places we went. (much better aite??!!) Started with Dublin (Ireland), then UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Paris and last pit stop Spain..

Actually we went to Dublin, Ireland so that we could meet up with Comel. Yet, Comel was such a loser, he went our of the Ireland... (blehhhh...) Nevertheless, we went to crush in Kuyu's place and tour Dublin with her. Met Fatin and Jasmine there. Owh owh the boys there were nice to have us and cook dinner for us.. Yesss, freee fooodddssss.. :D

After the Dublin's adventure, we took an irish plane to fly to Liverpool. Then from there, rent a car, learnt their slang to be used later and roadtripped around UK.. UK had awesome powsome view i tell ya!! The country side was breathtaking.. Gasspppp !!

Oh yeah, i went to the Greenwich line. You can clearly see the line that has 0 longitude.. The green line sperates west and east hemispheres of earth. Interesting right?

Hey, the red phone booth. It was my dream to actually get into the phone booth and camwhoring.. The red phone booths were always in any britain movies (okay, mostly in the movies) which attracted me to actually see them in front of my bare eyes.

I got this scrapbook pictures jumbled out. Now it looked like a crap. Did i tell you that we landed on Liverpool from Ireland. So while we were in the Liverpool, why not visited its stadium.. Anfield Stadium..

Then, from Liverpool, we headed down to Manchester and againnnnn visited its stadium.. Cause apis was the die-hard-fan for MU.

Okay, please bare with me. After Manchester, we went to London. Visited the Oxford University.

Of course, its London's Eye, Buckingham palace and otherss.. (actually already forgot abt other places and tooo lazzzyyyy to dig out the piles of pictures...)

Visited Stonehenge cause it was one of 7 wonders of the world.. Pretty amazing of how those giant rocks were there.. ummm still wonderinggg...

After stonehenge, we drove all the way down to Walessss.. (hoping to see the Prince of Wales, haha silly..)

So our journey crossed Bath city.. Damn, a nice city wey.. Ancient buildings on the hills, jammed and closed to each other. Not to mention, its own color, super wow!!!!! Rare view I must say..

So after Cardiff (the capitol of Wales) we went back to London, and taking ferry to reach Amsterdam.

From Amsterdam, we went to Zaanse Schan. Okay, I love this place that I still remember its weird name.. I was thinking to plan my honeymoon there..

Very nice land of wind mill and cute houses... I wanna go there again.. uuuu

Afterwards, took the train to Germany.. Ho yeah, meet another friends, Kodak and Begedil.. Crushed their house for days..

Went around Berlin, brrrrrr cccoooolllldddddd... bbrrrrr... View the Berlin wall, the historical proof of Hitler.

Okay, another weird name of place that i remember, Newscwanstein.. If i spelled it correctly..

Italiano, we came!!!! Okay, too lazy to write any comment, just scroll down and relaxxx....

Now i realized that we had spend quite number of days in Italy. Italy is the country that has mixed of everything. Interesting place to visit. It's the country that's ghetto, mesmerizing, dirty, modern, classic and great foods.

So from Italy, we went to France. The most hipster thing in France is the HALAL KFC.. haha okay i know its funneh, but hey if you're studying abroad, you would apreciate Halal food so much..

Our last pit stop.. sob sob sobsss and need to go back to the reality.. Spain, dint expect so much from Spain, but unexpectedly, we encountered pick pockets there.. Uwarghhhh I was the target, but luckily I was safe.. Fuhhhh (aminnn, grateful to Lord)

There were quite some places that we dint have time to do research about their interesting places. So the trick was to stop by at the sovenir's shops, and looked at the postcards... Ask around abt the places that we saw in the postcards. Haha

Tioman Island, Johor

Guess what? everyone should pay Tioman Island a visit..

Redang Island

So I went to Redang for doing the Redang Land Photography Challenge 2010. We stayed at the Mutiara Resort. From there, the participants and the media were brought to tour the island. We rode on the boat and went to the village area, long beach, marine park and other random places. It was an interesting view to see different kinds of boats had their anchors down in the Redang's ocean.

One thing that I like about the Redang is the sandy beach. The beach was clean without no stones or any sea creatures around. The beach was shallow (owh and not to forget the crystal clear water.. uuuuuu). Although I didn't really like the bittery taste of the salty water, but to have my body floated in the ocean and swayed by the mild currents, it was pure heaven.

The place where we stayed (Mutiara Resort) was decent but I could convince you that the admin really cared abt the resort and did some acceptable maintenance. Perhaps next time, I might come back to this island with friends or families.

The Land of Windmills

I took those shots when I was at the Netherlands. Okay, bear with me with the photography rules.(hehehe, I was a noob back then, and still am now..aiyooo). Let's focus on the pictures.. Prettyyy okayyyyy.. I mean the place, Netherlands, the land of windmills. Those pictures were taken during winter.. so just imagine when its spring.. gasp.. will be super nice right!!!!!

Now, I will be dreaming abt the beauty of Netherlands (hopefully.. please god.. let me have a wonderful dream. haha)

The ppl were friendly. The weather was nice. The water was crystal clear. I love diving! Enjoy swimming so much. The ice blended was splendid. The food was expensive yet fresh and delicious. Will want to go to Perhentian again.

Riding a bus.

Went to Arab Street which was located few blocks from Queen St. Yin said the Kebab was good.

They have this old,nice and antique mosque. I *like*

Also, Arab Street was fulled with old and small buildings. Ahhhh I *like*

Went to Lasalle College. So breath taking. Wish that I was one of the art students there.

Pretty aite? I told u so that Lasalle College was a breath taking..

We sneaked up into the building and toured the building. So well done design..

Vivo City, where we dipped our feet into the water and laid down and took a nap. Hehehe. splendid indeed. We spent pretty much most of our time ere. Window shopping, dinner, watch varieties of pets.

Okay, those flats with different tones of paintings remind me of Nippon Paints.

p/s: there were lots of interesting things to be captured ere, in Singapore, but we had so little time to really explore all of 'em. Plus, we are girls anyway. We kinda love shopping (or at least only window) more than anything.. kinda.. you know what I meant right?

Dublin, Ireland

Dublin, here we came!!

We got few friends at UCD and around Dublin, so yeah, meeting friends that were all what we did.

I admitted that UCD was so pretty~

We went around by riding on the double-decker bus. I was so excited cause it was my first time, y' all!

We toured the city quite a bit. Oh btw, this bridge is wider than it's length. Interesting aite?

We din't really have much time to spend in Dublin and to tour the whole Ireland, but I would want to come back again and go to the country side of Ireland as it was mentioned to be quite impressive.

West Coast Trip #1

First of all, you definitely need a car to travel around West Coast. It's so HUGE that it's just so hard to find more than one storey building. (if you're from the east coast's city, u'll know what I mean).
So yeah, we got ourselves a car. Mazda 6 (or is it 5.. crap, i don't remember). Omg, amongs most of the cars that I'd drove, I just love this car the most. It's smoothness, it's stability and everything abt it.

We flew to Las Vegas and rented the car there and drove to Hoover Dam which was about 2 hrs away from Vegas.
Couldn't believe it that there's a river named as Gila River in States. hehehe.

I was amazed with it's huge dam.

NYC - Halloween Parade

Halloween Parade in the city happens at 14th street every year. I took the path train and stop at the 14th st stop. It was very hectic. People went dressing up with different kind of monsters, fairy tales, and some weird creatures.

Me, Caryn and Sureen in the path train. I was the white ghost, while Sureen was the fencer and Caryn as the red devil.

Then came these three fellows, who were the super hero of the world.

It was real. A flying skeleton.

The mummies claimed that I was supposed to be his wife. Err, I reject your proposal.

I didn't really have a good picture of the parade itself, cause I was too SHORT. All the tall people were in front of me. The mayor should make a 2 ft stand for short people like me.

Chicago - The windy city

Oh yeah, if you heard rumor about Chicago, the windy city, I could confirm with you that it's true. Jeezz, I was literally flying when I was visiting Chicago. Hahaha. However, the cold wind didn't kill all the fun. Places that I went in Chicago were

a) Navy Pier

Lots of boats, seafood restaurants and cute stores.

b). Sears Tower

The third tallest building in the world.

c). Millennium Park

Built in 1997. It was the symbolic of the incoming millennium year.

New York City - Times Square

Once you hear about NYC, your mind will be thinking of Times Square. Its billboards, its lights, its crowd and more. I couldn't count how many times I have been there. Million times, I guess.

Times Square is the place to shop for varieties of stores such as Swatch, Quicksilver, Toy R Us, Hard Rock Cafe, M&M World, and many more. Also, Times Square is the place to see Broadway. (ahh I love Broadway show). Times Square also where the offices of various companies located. Times Square also is the place where people celebrate New Year in the city (although I never been to any of it. too crowded, no thanks!). Times Square also the place to dine - Red Lobster, Olive Garden and even McD. Times Square also is the place to watch movies. Damnnn, Times Square kinda has everything that you need. Now I know why it's so famous and crowded.

Coney Island

I went to this place twice, once during my freshman year in college and the last time was two weeks ago. From what I observed, Coney Island did not change that much. Coney Island could be reached by taking the train from Manhattan, NYC.

From 34th st, I took the N train (it's an express train, otherwise you also can take the Q train). The train ride was about 45 minutes.

It was a pleasant experience to walk on the Boardwalk. There were lots of seats at the Boardwalk. People were hanging out there. There were some riding on the bicycles. Yes, you could actually rent a bike and cycle on the Boardwalk. Also, food stores were around for your own conveniences when you were hungry.

When I read the signage of "no swimming", I really thought it was because of the cold water. Then, my statement was proven to be wrong, as the water was warm, so I assumed it must be because of no life guard in charge.

Near to the beach, located piles of timbers that you could seat and have a good talk with your friends.

The amusement park of Coney Island was closed down due to the planning of reconstruction of the Coney Island. Hopefully the town planner will make this place even better.
This is one of the landmark of the Coney Island. The tall red tower. I wonder whether anyone had climbed up till the top. haha

Sipadan Island - The Divers Paradise

May 26th, 2010.

Huh, it's been two years since the last time I went to Tawau. hahhaa. really got no time to write any post about it. Anyway, let's immersed deep into my memories and dug them out.

So Comel invited me to join his group to get the Scuba Diving license. So we flew to Tawau, then took the van to Semporna. Then registered with Scuba Junkie and literally lived in Semporna for four days. Ate the local foods (which werent' that good anyway, haha) then mingled around with the dive masters. I wasn't a good swimmer back then, but I made belief that I could pull this out. Hehehe, so I did and the rest of the group. Yeay us!!!

The theory of scuba diving was a bit boring, yet the videos that were showed were interesting and superb! The first time I went down in the ocean and had to breath using the O2 gas, it was scarryyyyyy.. I was a bit afraid of not breathing, or swallon the salty water or the O2 tank just simply didn't work.

Fast forward the time and after finally got our license, we moved to Mabul Island and stayed there for 2 nights. Then we dived the diving spots in Sipadan which were the Coral Garden, Turtle Bay (is it turtle bay??) and Barracuda point. The diving in Sipadan's was super awesome okayyyyyy!!! Promised to myself that would come back.. Definitely would do!!!

Another thing in my trip that was memorable, things that happened in Mabul Island. The kids, the natives there, the fishermens and many moree.. Just imagined the village kids didn't understand Malay yet could speak English cause they communicated with foreigners almost every day. Interesting scene right?

On the last day, we got to tour Tawau town before our flight back to the main land.

Melaka - The Historical State of Malaysia

I actually visited Melaka quite a few times, but only some that I was able to take digital pictures. So I guess I'll just put the stories of the pictures that I have, okay.

a). Taming Sari Tower

Taming Sari Tower, didn't know when it's built in Melaka, but it wasn't there when I was a small kid. The viewing place is around the big pole. The viewing place will be go up from the ground in slow rotational speed. It was a nice view up there seeing the small buildings, small cars and small people.
b). Eye of Melaka

It's located next to the Melak river. Hope that I got that correct. Hahaha. wasn't sure. I didn't take a ride on the Eye of Melaka, cause it just move so slow. Maybe with my beloved one, not with my friends.

c). Boat Ride

Everyone should definitely try this one. I'll explain nothing cause the pictures would amaze you. The boat ride is next to Eye of Melaka.

Washington DC

Did I mention that almost all museum in DC are free. However, I have been to only two of them, the American Museum of Natural History and Aerospace Museum. Well, it was quite boring in the American Museum of Natural History. Nevertheless, if you love the movie of Night at the Museum 2, you could see the biggest octopus (died and in a box) which was in the movie in the American Museum of Natural History, DC. I learned a lot in Aerospace Museum. Guess what, they have the Apollo spaceship there. Felt like I was there when the first man landed on the moon. Got to see the real size of rocket and of course could actually read the history of aerospace industry. ( Oh no, I din't read it all, I skimmed through almost everything. :D )

Of course a place that you should go is White House. Although the White House is housed by a black president, but it's still white.

Washington Capitol

These three monuments are aligned together. The Washington Monument (also known as Pencil) is located at the middle of the Washington Capitol and Lincoln Memorial.

Liverpool & Manchester

From Ireland, we took the flight to Liverpool. Then we rented a car. Then we went to the Liverpool Stadium and headed down to Manchester afterwards.

Everyone was excited to see the walk of fame of the football famous player.We din't enter the Manchester stadium though due to its closure for the Christmast holiday. Yeah, bad day to go there, but we left with no option back then.

We toured Manchester city a bit. The university was great.
